Dumfries and Galloway Council have issued a 'minded to grant planning permission' following a planning submission and committee decision late 2024. Renewco Power are working with the Council to finalise the Section 75 Agreement and expect the decision notice to be issued in the next few weeks. The project is a 49.9MW battery storage project (BESS) on land near Milton Farm, Moffat. 

Renewco successfully led the development of the Glenniston Solar & Storage Project from early‑stage origination through to achieving full planning consent. Following consent, Renewco completed the sale of 100% of its interest in the project, demonstrating the team’s capability to deliver high‑quality, ready‑to‑build renewable energy assets. Although Renewco no longer retains ownership, the successful consent and subsequent sale highlight the strength of our development model, our technical expertise, and our ability to unlock value through diligent project progression.

M74 West Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Glasgow based renewable energy developer Renewco Power Limited, is bringing forward a new renewable energy development at a site northwest of Abington services, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Ravengill Energy Park Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glasgow based renewable energy developer Renewco Power Limited, is bringing forward a new renewable energy development at a site north and east of the village of Leadhills in South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Watchman Energy Park Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Glasgow-based renewable energy developer Renewco Power Limited, is advancing plans for a new renewable energy project at a site located south of Elvanfoot. 

Renewco Power is bringing forward a new solar energy project near Devol Moor in Inverclyde, Scotland. The project is called Knocknair Renewable Energy Park and will include up to 25MW of Solar PV panels and a 24.9MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

Renewco Power with their development partner Locogen have submitted a planning application to Durham County Council for a new solar energy project near Shotton Colliery, Durham. The project is called Harehill Energy Park and will include up to 31.5MW of Solar PV panels and a 10.35MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Clyde South Energy Park Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Glasgow-based renewable energy developer Renewco Power Limited, is advancing plans for a new renewable energy project at a site located southeast of Elvanfoot. The project is called Clyde South Energy Park and will include up to 9 wind turbines, up to 180m in height to tip, a battery energy storage system (BESS) and potential for ground mounted solar panels. The project will target commencing operation as the adjacent Clyde Wind Farm is decommissioned at the end of its operational life (currently assumed to be from approximately 2036 onwards).
