Renewco established its presence in Spain in July 2022, marking the beginning of an early-stage growth market for the company. Since then, our dedicated team in Spain has built a robust and growing portfolio of renewable energy developments across the country.

Led by our greenfield development team and complemented by co-development partnerships with local companies, Renewco Spain is progressing a diverse range of projects across multiple technologies. This collaborative approach enables us to combine local insight with Renewco’s international experience, ensuring we deliver high-quality projects that meet regional needs and national energy ambitions.

We have originated a pipeline of more than 4GW of renewable projects throughout Spain, with a focus on achieving strong strategic positions for upcoming power grid tenders. Our portfolio includes onshore wind, utility-scale solar PV, hydrogen, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
